Everything we’re using for Pre-K this year and why I chose it.
Here’s a breakdown of the curriculum I chose for the year, along with how I’m planning out our weeks!

Math
I chose Singapore Math PKA for this year. My son turns 4 in late September, so we’re technically starting a year early. Because of that, I’m sticking with PKA this year and plan to move on to PKB next year.
Handwriting
For handwriting, I chose Learning Without Tears because I really want to focus on building a strong foundation and mastering proper handwriting skills rather than rushing through it.
Science
I didn’t want our science curriculum to feel too structured because I really believe that learning is play at this age. I ended up choosing Early Science Prep by Scholastic as a base for the year, and I’ll be supplementing it with hands-on activities, experiments, and books.
Weekly Activity Box
To help fill in the gaps, I added the Learning With Kelsey Kinder Prep Box. I think this will be a great resource for those days when I’m a little light on ideas or when I want an activity that requires less planning from me.
Enrichment Studies
I also picked up a few enrichment books because I didn’t want our homeschool to revolve entirely around the core subjects. These are more of a “let’s see what we’re interested in today” resource. I’ll be pulling from them throughout the year for art, nature, geography, music, and other little rabbit holes we might want to explore. I love having them on hand without feeling like we need to finish every page or follow a strict schedule. Full list to purchase here!
